CAV 101 – (MDOT) Communicating and Automated Vehicles Course

We are looking for more people to take part in an extracurricular program on Communicating and Automated Vehicles.  Participants will learn how to drive and program the Sphero RVR, a small vehicle with sensors that can detect color, infrared radiation, and communicate with others of its kind.  We are particularly interested in operating the vehicles together as a fleet using elements of artificial intelligence.  The group will meet a couple of hours each month and work through the course material provided by MDOT.

Dates and times will be worked out after the student members are selected.

Check the attached CAV AASHTO TRAC Manual 06.18.2020 for more information on the program.
